Membership Application Form

Grower = $125
Shipper = $250
Marketer = $250
Associate = $425

In addition to annual dues, League Bylaws require shipper members to pay shipping assessments based on a per-package fee fixed annually by the Board of Directors. Bylaws require that any grower member who ships through a nonmember shipper must also pay shipping assessments. A marketer member must pay assessments when marketing a nonmember's fruit. The undersigned requests and offers to be a member of the California Grape & Tree Fruit League. The membership shall begin as of the date of acceptance of this membership by the League's Board of Directors and shall continue until the membership is terminated in the manner provided in the Bylaws. During the term of the membership, the undersigned agrees to abide by the Bylaws of the California Grape & Tree Fruit League, as amended periodically, and to timely pay the dues and assessments established by the League.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

GROWER - Engaged in growing grapes, berries, and/or deciduous tree fruits but not shipping and /or marketing the same.

SHIPPER - Engaged in shipping as the person who pays the required assessments to the CA Table Grape Commission, CA Tree Fruit Agreement, CA Kiwifruit Commission or similar organizations and/or who first puts grapes, berries, and/or deciduous tree fruits into commerce by loading in carlots or the equivalent thereof by other forms of transportation, irrespective of whether or not also engaged in the growing of same.

MARKETER - Exclusively engaged in marketing grapes, berries, and/or deciduous tree fruits but not growing or shipping same.

ASSOCIATE - Not engaged in growing, shipping or marketing grapes, berries, and/or deciduous tree fruits as previously provided but interested in the objectives and purposes of the League.
