California Grape and Tree Fruit League

The California Grape & Tree Fruit League is a voluntary, nonprofit agricultural trade association that represents more than 85 percent of the volume of fresh market table grapes and deciduous tree fruit grown in California. Membership in the League is comprised of approximately 300 growers, shippers, marketers, and associates located from as far north as Lake County to the southern Coachella Valley. League members market a wide array of crops, including apricots, apples, cherries, figs, kiwis, nectarines, peaches, pears, persimmons, plums, table grapes, and others.

The League is one of the oldest agricultural trade associations in California with its origins dating back to 1911 when the California Growers and Shippers Protective League was formed by tree fruit interests in Northern California.

The League serves as a watchdog for the deciduous tree fruit and table grape industries, monitoring and actively participating in legislative, regulatory, and public policy matters. Through the daily presence of the League's representatives in Sacramento and Washington, D.C., the League actively monitors legislative and regulatory activity on such issues as farm labor, crop protection materials, marketing requirements, environmental resources, trade, packaging, transportation and others.

The League provides numerous benefits and services to its members such as competitively priced insurance programs and various educational seminars.
